Pozdrav!

Hello!
As a way to get to know me better, I’ve decided to write today about a competition where I won the 3rd place. Competition was about choice for Dove ambassador of beauty.
On summer 2010. while browsing the internet about Dove products, I accidentally stumbled upon competition that was already in motion. I’ve sent 3 of my photos, and of course as it goes, got everyone to vote for me. Battle for votes was quite tough, I have to admit, and why it wouldn’t be, when the reward was a paid trip to Nice and dresses of our famous creator Darko Kostic. Voting lasted for a week, and I was in the lead for 6 days, until on the 7th, another girl got more votes than me. I was very sad, but not because I won’t get a dress, but because people believed in me. Right when I was about to lose all hope, they declared the winner for that week’s voting, and as I opened the web page, I could see with big letters VERA DIMOV. My sister and I screamed for 20 minutes around the house, mom and dad thought something bad had happened, but when they found out what really happened, they started screaming with us. Family is there to scream with you when you win things, right?
And so I met with representatives of Dove cosmetics in Serbia, and I also met two other girls that had more votes than me. Dress awards giving was of course followed by reportage by then Avala Television, and for one whole day, whole TV crew came to Ruma (my hometown) and did coverage about me. I am not very proud of that video, which you can find on YouTube, and I of course won’t give you the link. Unfortunately, dress I got was too big and very expensive, so I am thinking about turning it into a wedding dress. Although the dress is silver-grayish, it doesn’t matter, I can always say that I a crazy artist.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I did come out in one of the issues of magazine Story, on the second page, ha! I did promote Dove Invisible bath care, which I loved, and I mean really. So there you go, this story should get you to know me better, and I hope encourage you to fight for something you want, and to never give up!
